Vinna - Enuwe Slim Still Run

  • 29.12.2022
  • ⚖️ 14 kg
  • 📏 48 cm
  • Eyes heathy (3.12.2024)
  • HD B/A, ED 0/0, OCD-free, VA0, LTV0

  • She has been with sheeps as a small puppy and she has natural herding instincs, her father is shepherd line

Vinna is brave, stable, social, independent, very kind and lovable. On my eyes she has the perfect balance - not too soft but not too hard. She has a great work drive - speed with brains and not over powering herding acts while working in agility, where she seems very promising. Also her bone structure to my eye is just super - very balanced and strong enough with excellent angulations yet she is very agile and her body weight is quite light.

She will not go every where just without thinking so she realizes new surfaces but after a check she will continue. I think this is a valuable thing with border collie as we do not want them to just go full speed with no brains but also they cannot be afraid. She has not had troubles with fire works or other sounds. She likes swimming, running and to relax in the Finnish sauna 🤪

  • Back LTV0, VA0, SP-free (5y)
  • Shoulders, healthy/healthy - OCD free
  • Eyes healthy (latest 23.11.2024)
  • Heart sound normal

Dox is very happy, energetic, strong male with excellent on/off switch.

Fast and agile who loves to cuddle, very social on humans but is also very independent. Loves to do tasks, but also knows how to calm down. At home he is like invisible.

He can be rewarded with a toy or with food, but a toy is clearly a better reward. Great will to fight with toy, but gently detaches from the toy on command. Learns very easily and withstands repetitions and corrections.

Lives in a pack of 6 males but does not like males from outside of our pack. He is protective of his pack and is a male with big M. Still gets along/has no trouble with all dogs if needed in competitions, dog walks etc., just males outside our pack needs to keep enaugh distance or Dox needs to be in working mode.

Tolerates a female in heat while working but when working stops he would be in mating mode, on the other hand appreciates females very highly. He is a true gentleman for the ladies.

Dox has a very nice bones and structure, flexible body. Loves Frisbee, hoopers and agility, he is just an amazing guy in anything we do. Nowadays in agility he is like a boy scout with 100% in and he does it with a big smile on his face 😊 Dox has not been to sheeps but I think he would be able to work with sheeps too.

Puppies of Vinna & Dox

Puppies are expected to be very stable minded with a great working mode. I don't expect any noice sensitivity or any troubles with different platforms. Puppies are expected to have abilities to almost any kind of hobbies. They should have awesome toy drive but also okay to work with treats.
Puppies of Vinna and Dox are not expected to be soft in character but they should have great will to please and respect on humans. They will not ask forgiveness on their existence. Puppies are expected to be very social and have natural open character towards humans.

On health side, both parents are super healthy - excellent bones, dna test all clear and no deseaces. Up to 5 years Dox has had one basic eye infection during his whole life. Vinna has had No deseaces up to 2y or no sings of anything.

Vinna's siblings and parents has also no health issues, Vinna has five siblings and three of them are x-rayed all healthy, oneA/A, two has A/B hips - OCD-free, VA0, LTV0, ED 0/0. In Vinna's family tree there are not known OCD in anywhere near family. Same is with epilepsy and autoimmunology deseaces. Vinna is mixed line in working-hobby/show and has genetic diversity 40, higher that average in border collies. Generally speaking, dogs with a higher percentage of heterozygosity will have a lower risk of genetic disorders and other complications associated with their breed background.

Dox has genetic diversity 37, so average to border collies. In this combination I expect puppies to have higher diversity than Dox has as they have inbreeding % 0,01 with Vinna im 8 generation - only one same dog in the pedigree: 7th generation in Dox's and 8th generation in Vinna's pedigree. Dox has a known genetic risk for OCD and that is the biggest health risks for me with this litter. Yet I think the genetic diversity gives great base to not having so much genetic deseaces and also as OCD is from multiple causing where affecting also nutrition, load (especially too young too much) and bone scructure - front bone scructure especially. Both parents have very nice bone scructure and Vinna has excellent front.

So overall we expect amazing, healthy border collies with super work mode but still nice dogs for everyday life.

These puppies are not for home with no intentetion to do any kind of hobbies.

Puppies will be brown & white and red merle in short and medium hair in normal or bearded coat
